Project Engineer is required to support Project Teams supplying high quality custom image sensors to the Space market to customers like NASA & ESA as prime contractors. Based in Essex, the role is commutable from Brentwood, Harlow, Chelmsford, Braintree, Rayleigh and Basildon.

Requirements
Ensure test related sections of customer documents are appropriately defined. Communicate technical information to internal and external interested parties (written and verbal) in style relevant to the audience. Define and develop suitable regimes for the characterisation and test of devices, according to the customer’s requirement. Further the group’s understanding of CCDs and related aspects through investigations and improvement projects. Support parties outside of the Project Engineering Team through providing advice and carrying out test related activities.

Further information
You will need to be qualified to BSc, MSc or PhD level in Physics, Electronics Engineering or Materials Science with an understanding of Solid-State Physics to at least the level of a physics related first degree. Demonstrated time management skills. Ability to work in a team. Performs under pressure. Enthusiastic about the technology and able to learn quickly. Good communication skills. Excellent report writing abilities.
