Mechanical Engineer is required by this leading defence organisation to work on a wide variety of projects.
You will be responsible for the Mechanical design of aerospace and communication equipment using 3D CAD. Mechanical & thermal analysis using finite element techniques. Working within a team, but managing own work load under minimal supervision. Supporting Bid preparation and liaising with Customers/suppliers. Work in a small, dynamic team dedicated to meeting customer expectations.
You will be expected to contribute solutions to a wide range of engineering challenges whilst demonstrating the ability to meet demanding deadlines.
The Mechanical Engineer will be educated to Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering and possess good engineering judgement with experience in 3D CAD and familiarity with finite element and manufacturing techniques is important. This person will be self-motivated and a good communicator (written & verbal).
