Requirements
To provide Health & Safety technical advice to the business on the impact of both current and future legislative requirements, to support the Facilities Operations Manager (FOM) in developing the business response to meet legislative requirements and Stakeholder expectations. External Relationships - Establish and maintain appropriate relationships with relevant external authorities and bodies who influence or control aspects and Health Safety and Environment. Test and develop working relationships with other Directorates. Budgets - Propose cost effective solutions to H&S problems which may impact on business operations, Present those solutions at SHE Management. Policy - Formulate the development of effective, compliant UK policies, obtaining authorization from Facilities Operations Manager to implement. Training - Develop, Provide and implement specialist health, safety and environmental training to all levels of the business. Steering Committees - Support the activities of the company UK H&S Steering Committees. Relevant Legislation - Monitor current and future legislation and suggest necessary actions to the FOM. Specialist Advice. Risk Assessments.

Further information
Understanding of UK business processes. Good communication skills. Good influencing skills. Technical qualification in relevant discipline. Experienced and qualified SHE practitioner. Broad understanding of manufacturing and laboratory technologies. Knowledge of SHE legislation and its applications and implications. Experience in Occupational Hygiene Monitoring - Desirable.
