Currently engaged on a number of UK and international programmes to deliver complex C4I, future network enabled capabilities and future platform programmes. The business is looking for a number of key individuals to satisfy current and future project demands. Can be based in Gloucestershire or South Wales. You must be a team player who is prepared to lead from the front and work with a multi-national engineering team and the customer community. You will be required to work across geographical and cultural divides to draw together a comprehensive engineering capability that will derive a balanced system solution.

Requirements
Analysis of Survivability Requirements. Turret Survivability solution focussed. Writing LRU and component specifications. Write supplier SOWs. Write Survivability ICD. Dealing with subcontractors during subsystem development. Subsystem and component testin. Develop progressive assurance evidence. Survivability subsystems development. Implementation of design solution. Support survivability integration and test activity on the platform prototypes.

Further information
Essential: A relevant or associated degree to the role such as Mechanical or Automotive engineering or relevant experience. A proven track record. Experience of engineering platform designs against performance and reliability targets. Experience of defining, evaluating and qualifying system designs from a set of requirements. Experience with the design and development of platform systems throughout the SE lifecycle. Contemporary knowledge of existing and emerging technologies in the areas of automotive and vetronic systems. Ability to liaise with and present information to multidisciplined team members. Excellent presentation, verbal and written skills. Willing to travel extensively within the UK and possibly overseas. Desirable: A strong background in defence systems engineering. Familiarity with current British Army tracked and wheeled vehicles. Familiar with relevant Defence Standards, Military Standards and EC Directives. Appreciation of all Defence Lines of Development.
